About Stephen Stephen Shennan is Professor of Theoretical Archaeology at the UCL Institute of Archaeology where he was Director 2005-2014. He is a specialist in the European Neolithic and Brone Age and his main interest is in explaining stability and change in prehistory in the light of ideas from evolutionary ecology and cultural evolution
